A portion of sales will benefit RISE+, a student leadership development series at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College RISE

RISE+ places a focus on intersectionality of identity and leadership. Our identities affect our lived experience and contribute to unequal outcomes in ways that cannot be attributed to one dimension alone. The program is specifically designed for students who have a passion to lead and work within diverse teams, develop leadership skills, and who wish to become more connected with the NWTC community.

Students who successfully complete RISE+ will be able to:

• Identify one's own strengths and successful ways to utilize them to effectively lead others.
• Learn how to effectively communicate with diverse communities on behalf of themselves, their organization, or their projects.
• Demonstrate an understanding of civic responsibility and cultural competence when working with others.
• Define the personal and social responsibilities inherent in any formal or informal leadership position.
